Leon Hill Holcombe died while visiting his grandparents in Bremen, Georgia. They had come from their home in Ogallala, Keith, Nebraska where they lived on the Holcombe Ranch. Family Lore is that he was taken out in a boat by an uncle who was drunk and scared him so bad that Leon became very ill and then died in Bremen.
