Amelia (Hepler) Enterline was the daughter of Daniel Maurer Hepler and Maria "Polly" (Bolich) Hepler. Born March 14, 1862 in Eldred Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, she married Northumberland County attorney, Samuel Monroe Enterline (1857-1917).
Shown as "Millie" or "Millie B" on her death certificate and various census records of the period, she was memorialized as "Amelia S. Enterline" on her gravemarker, which also indicates that she was born in 1862.
Millie and Samuel's son, LeRoy Enterline, followed in his father's footsteps, becoming an attorney before being appointed to serve as the District Attorney for Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania in December of 1931.
Census records for Millie and her family indicate that another son (George) was born, but died young - in 1894 (approx. age: 4).
Millie died in North Manheim Township on October 10, 1921, and was interred at Mt. Laurel Cemetery in Pottsville, Schuylkill County. Her husband, Samuel, and their son, George, are interred nearby. According to the records of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ashland, Pennsylvania, Samuel M. Enterline died on 30 January 1917.
Their granddaughter, Margaret (d: 1916), is also interred nearby. Margaret was the daughter of LeRoy Enterline.
Note from Gary Buch Gehman, the original creator of several Enterline family profiles on Find A Grave: "1862 Amelia S.1921" is on the bottom of the Enterline family stone.
