Funeral services for Deborah Aamodt, wife of David Aamodt, formerly of Canby, were held at St. Luke's Lutheran church in Portland Friday, July 23. Funeral arrangements were made by Young's Funeral Home in Tigard.

Mrs. Aamodt was born on Feb 10, 1952 and died July 19 in an automobile accident in South Carolina where she was residing with her husband.

Survivors, besides her husband are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Lang of Portland, two sisters, Kathy Dobyns of Portland and Barbara Lang of Corvallis; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. L Beitcher of Portland and great-grandmother Mrs. J. E. Morrison of Beaverton.

The family requests that memorials be donated to the University of Oregon Medical School leukemia research fund.

Debbie attended university at University of Oregon School of Nursing (in subsequent years the name changed to OHSU. ). She loved children and worked in Pediatrics at St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland before and and David moved to the east coast where he was a Naval lawyer.
