James Thomas Douglas, born May 14, 1963 left this earth for greater adventures on July 16, 2013 to be reunited with many good friends and family members.
A gentle giant, James was the kindest soul who shared his passion for music as a teacher and taught many the value of song. He played in various bands throughout his life and was gifted in many instruments including bass, guitar, mandolin, and vocals.
James was an avid believer that Pluto is still a planet, as well as a loving friend to every creature on this earth. He is remembered by his undying sense on humor, and his never ending "why's" mid-belch. Perhaps he knows "why" now. He had as many jokes as curls on his head, and more heart than his 6'3" frame could handle.
James is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean, his step-children Kelson, Nichole, and Brandon Sanderson, his mother Sharon Ramseyer, sisters Danielle Douglas, Angela Jensen, Caroll Skidmore and Alexandria Ramseyer, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Thomas and his brother Jeremy.
Funeral services will be held on Monday July 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Bingham Creek Stake Center (8539 South 2200 West in West Jordan, UT).
