Lizzie was the daughter of Jacob Riley Johnson & America Josephine Brasher. She lived in Texas all her life.

In 1919 Lizzie and Lang were married. They lived in Lubbock County and had three sons: Jack, JR, Rex.

Lang died in 1961. Lizzie moved to Georgetown in Williamson County, where she died at age 84.
