Glenn Kenneth Angel - Moore, SC - Well loved, Glenn Kenneth "GK" Angel, 80, passed onto eternal life on October 18th, 2012 surrounded by his family, whom he created with his wife of 58 years, Barbara Jean Hurst Angel. She has been waiting for him for three years in the arms of our Lord with their daughter, Patty Angel. He is the eldest son of Lloyd and Lena Angel. He is survived by four children, Debbie & Steve Cubra of Asheville, NC, Sandy Leopard of Boiling Springs, SC, Linda & Keith Simmons of Knoxville, TN, and Steve & Holly Angel of Moore, SC. They created the family Glenn cherished, loved, and took much pride in including twelve grandchildren and six great-grand-children. He was predeceased by his wife, youngest daughter, brothers, Robert Angel and Doug Angel. Those that survived him include Bev & Ed Kurtzman, Barb Angel, and Roger & Connie Angel of Garrettsville, OH, and many neices and nephews. Though Glenn is gone from this life, he will never be forgotten in the hearts and memories of all of those who knew him. Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Stribling Funeral Home 118 W. Main St., Duncan, SC., Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. At Nelson United Methodist Church at Nelson Circle, OH, memorial service 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2012 .
