Tanner Garrett Bruehl, 27, of Norman, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Tanner was born Feb 23, 1987 to Mark Bruehl and Sharla Steely Bruehl. He graduated from Norman High School in 2006 and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Tanner's work was in the oil field, diligently manning and servicing the oil well pump machine. Tanner and Brandi (Carter)were married May 30, 2009, in Norman.

Tanner was a strong, Christian man. He was an avid hunter, loved to play baseball early in life and later in life enjoyed softball with friends and family. Tanner coached his son Easton's T-ball team. He loved coaching and was great at it. He loved being outdoors. Tanner always loved and provided for his wife and children.

Tanner Bruehl never met a stranger and had the rare ability to always see the best in people. He was a gifted handyman and could do anything he put his mind to. He was a perfectionist and would figure anything out to get the job done right. Tanner was very outgoing, kind and good hearted. He would have given anyone the shirt off of his back. Tanner was an amazing daddy, husband, brother and son.

Tanner was preceded in death by his "Papa", Jack Steely.

He is survived in death by his wife, Brandi Carter Bruehl of Noble, son, Easton (5) and daughter, Blakely (19 months); parents, Mark and Sharla Bruehl of Norman; brother Cameron and wife Darcy Bruehl; niece, Paisely of Norman; grandmother, Fredonna Steely and Aunt Jerri of Noble; grandparents Gene and Anne Sue Bruehl; as well as by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services for Tanner will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Noble Assembly of God Church.

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Tanner Bruehl Family Memorial Fund at Republic Bank.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Primrose Funeral Service in Norman.
