Joseph Reed Anderson, son of Joseph J. Anderson and Lydia Ann Spence, born September 8, 1869 in Page County, Iowa, died November 11, 1934 at 7:45 p.m. at the age of 65 years, 2 months, and 3 days. Burial on November 14, 1934.

A letter written to Isa, Mary Isabelle Anderson and Letta, Letta Belle Anderson from Aunt Lydia (Hayes) from Wheatland, Wyoming. It said that Joe Reed Anderson died November 11, 1934 at 7:45 p.m. He married Minnie Wheeler on October 31, 1894. He drove a school bus, but had to give it up because he was feeling poorly. His wife and he went on a trip to Seattle, Washington to see two of her sisters. They rented their house out and left. He didn't get better, so he went to the doctor and they found a tumor that couldn't be operated on, so the doctor said to get him home as soon as possible. Minnie drove all the way and it said that it took 10 days. It said that Lydia and his two daughters, Mabel and Lydia went to visit him, but he was unconscious and died November 11, 1934. The funeral was November 14, 1934 at 2:30 o'clock in the church. The letter also asked about Fern
