Born November 19, 1921 in Columbus, Ohio to John and Alma Bluff, John passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Banner Hospital, Mesa, Arizona.

Born and raised in Columbus Ohio, John graduated from South High School. He received his DDS degree from The Ohio State University in 1945, going into private dental practice. During World War II and Korean (1945 - 1954), he served with the Navy. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Dr. Bluff taught dentistry at The Ohio State University as an associate professor until retiring in 1992. An avid golfer, he spent many summers in Colorado at the cabin he built with his first wife, Irene (Wollam) Bluff.
