Catherine "Kitty", daughter of William Elsworth and Eliza Clarke, was was born at Bath Street in Saint Nicholas parish, Leicester, Leicestershire, England 2 April 1848. She emigrated with her parents in June 1848 to Wisconsin where she married Edward Foster Batty 23 November 1872 in Iowa County, Wisconsin. They had five children. Following Edward's death she married John Dame 20 June 1922. After his death she married Charles Watzke 29 June 1923.∼Batty, Mrs. Edward Watzke (Betty)
