Roman R. Brychell, 87, 7580 Highway BB, Bancroft, town of Buena Vista, died Wednesday evening in the emergency room at St. Michael's Hospital. He was taken there by ambulance earlier after being stricken at home.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church, town of Buena Vista. The Rev. John Swing will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at the Dzikoski/Pisarski Funeral Home. A general rosary will be said Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Friends also may call Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.

He was born August 1, 1902, in the town of Buena Vista, a son of the late Joseph and Otylia Brychell. He attended local schools. He wa an insurance agent fro the Rural Life Insurance Co. He was also former town clerk for the town of Buena Vista. He was an active member of St. Martin Catholic Church.

Survivors incude a sister, Amelia Trzebiatowski, 3287 Oak St.; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
