VIOLET CICHORZ GREGORY, age 80, died on February 21, 2010. She was born on January 29, 1930 into a large family of 15 children in a rural Polish farming community in Bowers Hill, Virginia. She worked many years in the printing industry. She loved square dancing and was a square dance apparel boutique owner. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Cichorz, and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gilbert W. Gregory; daughter, Cindy Friedrichs of Sugar Land; son, Vern Gregory of Houston; sisters, Veronica Irwin of Dallas and Helen Hayden of Portsmouth, Virginia; and brother, Stanley Cichorz of Bonneaw, South Carolina.Visitation from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2010 in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
