A private service was held Monday for Verba M. ''Blondie'' Bergeson, who died Sunday in her Vancouver home of cancer. She was 67.
Disposition was by cremation. Inturnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Born April 10, 1924, Mrs. Bergeson was a cook at Royal Oaks Golf and Country Club in Vancouver for more than 15 years.
Survivors include her husband, Truman E. of Vancouver; a son, Edward D. Bergeson of Vancouver; daughters, Judith D. Ables, Penny L. Holling and Linda R. Stringer, all of Vancouver, and Nola J. Beatty of Seaside; a brother, Henry M. Yeager of West Virginia; sisters,Eva Lee Kingery, Regina Cremeans and Nona Miles, all of West Virginia, sister-in-law Bernice Clawson of Vancouver and nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
