A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 1997, in Montavilla United Methodist Church for Marie T. Ambrose , who died April 20 at age 79.
Mrs. Ambrose was born April 13, 1918, in St. Ignatius, Mont. Her maiden name was Turner. She was a teacher's aide at David Douglas High School and a member of the church.
Surviving are her daughter, Sue Dolan of Portland; stepdaughters, Marie Stuart of Portland, Lynda Chud of Alaska and Trina Ambrose of Montana; stepsons, Carl and Craig Ambrose , both of Montana; brother, Ritchie Turner of Gresham; and 10 grandchildren.
Private interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Lincoln Memorial Park Funeral Home.
