L. A. died at age 90. His parents were Lelon & Emma Daniell; he came with them to Roseville, CA 1922, & operated the Red & White grocery store on Riverside. He attended Roseville H.S., was a veteran of WWII in the Marine Corps, and awarded the Purple Heart for wounds suffered on Guam. He was a Roseville Policeman and after 27 years, retired as a captain. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Clifford & Roy. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Verle, his daughters: Meria Hoig (Gary), & Marlene Kerze (David); his sister, Edith Faye Curtin; 4 grandchildren, 6 gr-grandchildren and other extended family. Funeral Service: Apr 10, 2012, 12:00 noon, at Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses, Roseville. Interment at Sylvan Cemetery, Citrus Heights, CA.
