Mardie W. Bilyeu, 66, of 622 Kansas St, died Friday at the St. Mary's Health Center.

He was born May 7, 1918, in Meta, the son of L. A. and Henrietta Orr Bilyeu,

He was a W.W. II Army veteran and was retired from Pleasant Hill butcher shop.

Survivors include: two brothers, Winfred Bilyeu of Meta, and Harold Bilyeu of St. Elizabeth; three sister, Mrs. Lennie Means, Mrs. Vada Barnhart, and Mrs. Mae Pendleton, all of Meta.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Stevinson, Mossman Funeral Home in Meta with the Rev.Earl Jones officiating. Burial and Military rites will be at the Stokes Cemetery, Meta.

Visiting will be after 2 p.m. today. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Stokes Cemetery Maintenance Fund.
