Funeral this Monday March 3rd 2014.
Born in East Palestine, she lived in Canton for 45 years. Dorothy graduated Cum Laude from Kent State University and was a lifetime educator retiring from Fairless Schools. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Massillon Women's Club, Canton College Club, Red Hat Society, and Friends of the Library.
The loves of her life were her grandsons. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Bernabei-Rorrer and Robert Rorrer; three grandsons: Jordan, Justin and Mitchell Rorrer all of Canton; and a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Rick Hooper of Columbiana. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Jordan.
Friends may call Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at Lamiell Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday the 3rd of Feb. at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Beneleit as celebrant.
Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Massillon Women's Club. Condolences may be made to:
