|Death: ||Nov. 13, 2013|
His parents are George and Kathryn Armstrong.
Warren met Claudia at Kent State University in freshman geology class and he always said that "their relationship started on the rocks." They were married for 44 years. They raised their children in Stow, living here for most of Warren's life. He dedicated his life to his family and his students. Since retiring after 35 years of teaching science at Kimpton Middle School, he continued weekly ballroom dance lessons and events with his wife Claudia for over a decade. Together they performed at many dance showcases after weeks of practice and preparation on the ballroom dance floor in their basement. He also enjoyed golf with friends throughout his life haing his best year on the links in 2013. Generally quiet and reserved in public, Warren had a sharp sense of humor enjoyed by his family and friends. During his years as a teacher, he may be best remembered for his daily quotes and sayings that ranged from humorous to motivational.
