Eva L. (nee Keyes) Curtis, 63, passed away peacefully. She was born in Tennessee, and lived in the Akron area most of her adult life, where she was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple.
Preceded in death by husband, Ernest Curtis, she is survived by daughter, Mary Ann Curtis Donovan, and two grandchildren. She was the loving daughter of Lilly M. Keyes, and is also survived by brother, Hank Keyes; sisters, Jeannie Froud and Clara Donovan; nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncle, and cousins. Eva graduated in 1960 from Ellet High School where she was the 1960 Sweetheart Queen. She was very active in the United Nations Model General Assembly and was the runner-up in the 1962 Greater Akron Miss America Pageant.
