Emil Earnest Curtis, born 1893. Left home at 14, to be working with horses, Fidler Utah. He sold his horse, for the train ticket. Later, he went to Wooster, Wayne County, Oh, met his wife to be. He worked on the farm where she was.
Emil married Elizabeth Franzen, and they had 6 children: Edward Lee, Clarence Francis, Anna Mae, Earnest Emil, Marjorie Louise, and Mary.
The children married. Edward (Mary Jean Reed), Clarence (Elizabeth Helen Steger), Anna Mae (Eugene Oplinger), Earnest (Eva), Marjorie (Raymond Gorbach), Mary (Tim Cahill).
They had 18 grandchildren, and 40 great grandchildren.
