Geraldine Gibson Anthony

Brentwood, Tenn. Geraldine Gibson Anthony born May 29, 1925, died August 24, 2005, at 80 years of age.
Geri was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, a Bible teacher, an accomplished artist and a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Gibson; her husband, Lonnie Anthony, and her son Vance Gibson.
She is survived by her son Jack Gregg Gibson (Mavely) of Odessa, Texas; her daughter, Victoria Gibson-Fourkiller of Nashville; grandson, Dillon Gibson of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; five granddaughters, Darbi Poe (Billy) of Fort Worth, Texas, Hayley Davis (Kelby) of Odessa, Kelee Wright (Kirk) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kaela Fourkiller of Nashville, Tennessee, and Kate Gibson of Austin, Texas; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Rozella Duermyer of Eugene, Oregon, and Novella Burrus of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother, Don Finto (Martha) of Nashville; and by her Anthony children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Antioch Church of Christ.
Memorials may be sent to the world missions departments of Antioch Church of Christ, Fourth Avenue Church of Christ in Franklin, Tennessee, or to the Belmont Church in Nashville.
Active pallbearers are Kevin Moore, Todd Anderson, Kevin Williamson, Michael Yates, Lincoln Coggin and Vance Vannett.
Honorary pallbearers include Andy Woodard, Kirk Davidson, Van Cluck and the "Good Sisters" prayer group (Pat High, Jane Burnett, Era Jaynes, Martha Butler, Linda Elder, Mary Stanley, Anne Severance, Martha Finto and Gloria Grant).
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and for the hour preceding the Saturday morning service.
Funeral services will be conducted by Don Finto and Weldon Rickman on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the Brentwood Funeral Home, 9010 Church Street East in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Services are by Brentwood/Roesch Patton Funeral Home, 9010 Church St. E. Brentwood, TN 37027, (615) 373-3040.
