Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery on Wednesday at 2 p.m. for Taft resident John Cox, 69.
Mr. Cox was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on February 11, 1930 and he passed away at his home on December 20, 1999.
He served in the U.S. Navy and he worked for Pride Petroleum for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Cox, in 1996. Survivors include his son, his daughter and her husband, his grandchildren, his great grandchildren, his mother, and his brother.
