Millard F. Alley, 73, retired Ashland grocer, and a former resident of the Prichard, WV section, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Riddle in Ashland, after an illness of 2 weeks. The body was returned to Prichard, WV for interment in the Alley family cemetery on Thursday. Surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Goldie Schatz, Washington, D. C.; 4 sons, Lieutenant Colonel Edward C. Alley, dental corps, Untied States Army stationed at San Francisco, CA, Howard Alley, Baltimore, MD, 2 brothers, Wade H. Allen, Prichard and Alonzo Alley, Kenova.
