Born Jan. 24, 1940, he was the son of Robert T. and Dorothy Jane (Godsey) Hall. He married June Deckard in 1968 and she survives.
Robert served with the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Germany for three years. He retired from Otis Elevator. He owned Guthrie Bobs bait shop, and enjoyed working there. He was an IUE union member. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching trains with his son.
Survivors include his wife June of Bedford; one son, Jeff Hall of Bedford and his fiancé to be Amy Eads of Bedford; two sisters, Phyllis Abel and husband Darrell of Bedford, and Barbara Abel and husband Max of Bedford; and five nieces and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one niece.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Farrell Sowder and Max Abel officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowder Cemetery in Springville. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of the American Legion Gillen Post No. 33.
