Born Jan, 20, 1920, in Rockmart, Paulding
Co., Ga. son of the late Noble Brown and the late Mrs. Frances Brown.
He started the furniture business with Groover-Smith Furniture in Villa Rica, the later owned Brown's Furniture for more than 40 years.
He later worked and retired from Home Depot in Douglasville.
MR. BROWN SERVED DURING WORLD WAR II IN THE U.S. ARMY. He served on
the Villa Rica Gas Board and the Villa Rica Civil Defense,
and was a firefighter for the Villa Rica Volunteer Fire Dept.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Villa Rica and
the Berean Sunday School Class.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Hoyt Brown.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, sisters, one granddaughter and a number of nieces and
nephews.
Services: Saturday, March 30, at 2 p.m., Jones-Wynn
Funeral Home, Villa Rica, Rev. J.B. Marlow and Rev. Don
Hazel officiating. Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery.
