Deanna Aanderud, 43, Minot, died Saturday, December 30, 2006 in her home.

Deanna was born on November 10, 1963, the daughter of Paul and Virginia (Volbrecht) Aanderud in Minot, ND. She was reared and educated in the Parshall area. In high school, she won many awards for her artwork and music abilities. Deanna graduated from Parshall High School in 1982.

In 1983, she was united in marriage to Larry Landsiedel. Following their marriage, they lived in Minot. To this union was born two children, Brock and Samantha. The couple later divorced. In 1995 she was united in marriage to John Schroeder. They divorced in 2001.

She worked as a dental assistant for several years in Minot, until a latex allergy forced her to retire. She then began working at home where she put her artistic ability to use, designing web pages.

Deanna enjoyed spending time with her children, watching American Idol, cooking, and listening to all types of music. For a few years, she was also active with the Minot Chamber of Commerce.

She is survived by: Her children, Brock and Samantha Landsiedel, both of Minot, father, Paul Aanderud, Minot; mother Virginia Snyder, Roseglen, ND; brother James (companion Karina) Aanderud, Arvada, CO; sisters: Vicki Lujan, Minot, Marsha (Todd) Suydam, Roseglen, Beth (companion Tony) Eisenzimmer, Arvada, CO; paternal grandmother, Gladys Dix, Velva, ND, special friend, John Schroeder, Parshall and her pets. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Deanna was preceded in death by a still born sister, Cheryl, maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.

Memorial Service: Thursday, January 4, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.

Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign a register book on Thursday one hour prior to service time.

Burial: A private burial will take place at a later time.
