Daniel Edward Ackerman, 68. died at his home at Waurika, Oklahoma, Wednesday morning. He formerly lived in Wichita but lived at Waurika for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Catholic church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his widow, Belle; his aged father, John J. Ackerman, once owner of Ackerman Island here, 1443 North Lorraine; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Sproat, 1443 North Lorraine, and Mrs. Catherine Rohrback, Phillipsburg, and a brother, John, 1504 South Emporia. Mueller mortuary is in charge.
