Frankie L. Chandler, 75, a retired LVN for Hargove Convalescent Center, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at a local hospital. Funeral: Noon Saturday at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 1201 Verbena, The Rev. K. C. Grandberry, officiating. Burial: Cedar Hill memorial Park. Visitation:Noon to 530pm Friday at the funeral home, and the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm at the church. Friends may assemble in front of the church at 1145am as Frankie's pink couch arrives at the church in the Spencer white horse drawn carriage. She was a faithful member of Mount Carmel for over 50years, serving on the nurse's aide and the mission. She was called the queen of the Sausage shop, where her daughter and son-in-law are owners. Survivors: one son, six daughters and spouses, one sister and stepmother, Willie Mae Horton-McKinney and 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one godson and two loving friends.
