Around 1894, after his 2nd child was born, the family moved from Shelby Co., Iowa to the Minneapolis area. He was a locomotive fireman. He died in the Minneapolis Workhouse. Cause of death, strangulation,suspected suicide.
He left behind wife Ida Dell Tremain,
and their six young children :
