Her grave is the oldest grave in the Gail cemetery, based on the gravestone inscriptions.

Fetnah S. Bull Alexander was a daughter of John Wesley Bull (1818-1898, buried in Bull Family Cemetery in Hood County, Texas) and Sarah {or Sharah or Shannon or Susannah} Jane Easterly (born 1823 died 1882, buried supposedly in Bull Family Cemetery in Hood County, Texas).

Her father, John Wesley Bull was a son of John Valentine Bull (1777-1840) and Fetnah Bean (1787-1857).

Her mother, S. Jane Easterly was a daughter of Jonathan Easterly and Susannah Ealy (Aily).

No official record of the marriage of James David Alexander and Fetnah S. Bull was found. The birth of James' youngest daughter, Cordelia, sets the earliest date of their marriage as being about 1886. [Some family trees show a marriage date of 1884 others have a date of 1888. No sources provided for the marriage dates.] It is likely they were married sometime between 1886 and 1888. The earliest date is based on the birth date of James' daughter, Cordelia, being in 1886 as reported in the census records .
