Mrs. Bertha May Albertson, 68, died in a local rest home at 5:35 p.m. Monday following a lingering illness. She was a member of the Methodist church and a past matron of Henrietta Chapter of Eastern Star.
She was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mary Jane Wilson Moore, and was born March 7, 1885 at Aurora, Neb. When she was a child, the family moved to Chappel, Neb., and March 6, 1896 she came to Idaho Falls. She was graduated from the Idaho Falls High School and taught schools in the vicinity, also, in the local school system.
August 11, 1915, she was married to Arthur A. Chubb. He died October 14, 1920. She was later married to A. L. Albertson, April 15, 1922.
Mrs. Albertson was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church and had been active in the various organizations of the church. She was a member and past matron of Henrietta Chapter No. 21, Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Albertson died April 6, 1952.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jane Clarke, Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Kenneth Leaverton, Idaho Falls and three grandchildren. Three brothers, Ray R. Moore, Idaho Falls; William H. Moore, Wilmington, Calif.; Glen Moore, Boise, and two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Wilcut, Turlock, Calif., Mrs. Blanche Russell, Long Beach, Calif., also survive.
