C.R. Cory was a Renaissance Man in every way. He played basketball on the General Motors basketball team. He rode, golfed, and swam. During the era of silent film, C.R. Cory would play music to provide background music to films in theaters. He painted in oils, was a voracious reader of all sorts of genre, and wrote books on die cutting. Mr. Cory was a graduate of Case Western Reserve in Ohio, and was an engineer for Fisher Body (General Motors) in Detroit, Michigan.
