MRS. O. M. BAILEY DIES AT 53; WAS HERE 27 YEARS
Survived Operation Only' Four Days

The death of Mrs. O. M. Bailey, wife, of a Baltimore & Ohio engineer, residing in Garrett, took place at the Sacred Heart hospital at 11 o'clock Tuesday night.

Mrs. Bailey was ill for two weeks. She entered the hospital February 5 and submitted to a major operation last Friday.

Born at Batavia. N. Y., January, 21, 1876, Mrs. Bailey was past fifty-three years of age. Her maiden name was Rose Etta Dunlap.

She and Mr. Bailey were married April 5, 1895, and they located in Garrett in 1902. The family home is at 713 South Lee street.

Surviving besides the husband are three children, Mrs. Flossie Greenbery of Kansas City, Mo., Clayton Bailey of Kendallville, and Miss Ruth Bailey of Fort Wayne. Mrs. Bailey was a member of the G. I. A. to B. of L. E.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, the Rev. Burl M. Bechdolt of the Garrett M. E. church officiating. Interment will be made in Calvary.
