Franklin Press 1894 May 2 --- "Sad death of a Child. Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Harrison met with the sad misfortune last Wednesday to lose their youngest child under very peculiar circumstances. Mr. Harrison had returned home about 2 o'clock and Mrs. Harrison prepared dinner for him. The child, a little boy aged near 5 months, was lying on the bed apparently well and playful, and was left while Mr. Harrison went into the dining room to eat his dinner. On returning to the room, the parents were horrified to find the little one lying on its face dead. It is not known definitely whether it rolled over on its face and smothered or was attacked by apoplexy. The funeral took place at the Methodist church Thursday at 4 o'clock, conducted by Rev. D.F. Carver." Comments on Franklin Press report- -"no stone can be found for this Harrison child but he is probably buried by his sisters".
