Two notices of Maria Carson's death appear in Hastings Daily Tribune. One printed Nov. 10, 1915 states;
DEATH COMES TO
MRS. M. L. CARSON
Death came to Mrs M. L. Carson, seventy-three years old, at home, 820 North Kansas Ave. at 10 o'clock this morning. Death resulted from an attack of pneumonia.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Mrs. Carson is survived by several grown children.

TO BE HELD TOMORROW
Services for Mrs. M. L. Carson, who died yesterday at the residence, 820 North Kansas Avenue, will be held at ( ?) church at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The pastor will conduct the services and interment will be at Parkview cemetery.
Mrs. Carson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Simon and Mrs. Emma Sanders, and two sons, George and Lon Carson, all of whom will be present at the funeral. A brother, John Harkrader of Iowa, is in the city for the services.
