Heat is Fatal to Wm. C. Brock -- Former Local Man Dies Enroute to Indianapolis Hospital Sunday.

William Clarence Brock, formerly of Frankfort died in an ambulance while enroute to an Indianapolis hopsital after having suffered a heat stroke with a cerebral hemorage following He became ill while at work Saturday afternoon and later in the day showed considerable improvement at his apartment, 1005 North Delaware street. However, late Sunday he suffered a relapse and died at 11:30 o'clock Sunday night while being cenveyed to the Methodist hospital.

The body was brought to Frankfort by the Aughe & Son Funeral directors and prepared for burial. After ten o'clock Wednesday morning friends may call at the home of a sister, Mrs. Walter Aughe, 501 West Walnut street.

Services will be from the Aughe West Walnut street residence Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Dr. Charles C. Ford of the First Methodist Episcopal church officiating.

Mr. Brock was born in Jackson township, south of Frankfort, June 6, 1892 the son of Thomas M. and Arabelle Buntin Brock. He was raised in the Cyclone neighborhood, but located in Indianapolis where he became interested in beauty culture and learned barbering. At the time of his death he was in the employe of the Miller Beauty Salon. He frequently visited Frankfort relatives. He was a member of the Memorial Methodist church near Cyclone and the Elks of Indianapolis.

He is survived by his mother of Frankfort, two brothers, Ernest and John both of Frankfort, two sisters Mrs. Walter Aughe, Frankfort and Mrs. Pearl Thompson of Chicago. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
