Lewis Anderson Easterly was the son of Rev Caleb Witt and Rebecca Jane Jacobs Easterly. Lewis married Mira Easterly on 06 sep 1883 in Jackson Co., Illinois. Mira's parents are unknown, but they together had 2 children and lived in 1900 in the Grand Tower Township of Jackson County, Illinois.
This grave is also mentioned along with his parents graves in a quote from Sue Reed who surveyed the Reiman Farm Cemetery before 1998: "At this cemetery are the following: "Rev Caleb W Easterly, 1821-1893; Lewis A. Easterly, 1858-1919; and behind this one is a stone that reads 'RJE'".
