Earl Clarence Jarrett of Barnett, MO, died at St. Mary's Hospital last Thursday, only a day before his 47th birthday. He suffered from a heart ailment.
Mr. Jarrett, the son of Fred and Hattie (Derixson) Jarrett was born August 2, 1910 in Maries County, MO. He was married October 27, 1934 to Christina Fischer.
He was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church and of the Masonic Order in Granite City, IL, where he lived before coming here in 1946.
He returned to Missouri with the Wesseling-Jordan Shoe Co., where it operated a plant in Eldon. More recently he operated a milk route, hauling to Kraft Foods Co. in Eldon for two years prior to his illness during the past year.
In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Jarrett is survived by a son, Carl of Hickman Mills, MO, and twin sons Larry and Barry of the home; his father, Fred of Granite City, IL, two brothers, Roy of Granite City, IL, and Victor of Eldon, MO; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Jolly of Granite City, IL, and Mrs. Edna Overholtz of Marine, IL; and three grand children.
