Martin Battorf is the son of John Adam Batdorf born abt 1720 and Anna Elizabeth Zeller born abt 1725, and the grandson of Johann Martin Batdorf born abt 1698 and Maria Elizabeth Walborn born 1696.

Martin Battorf married on 31 Dec 1770 In Jackson Twp, Lebanon County, Pa, at the Trinity Tulpehocken Reformed Church to Maria Barbara Hautz born 1748, daughter of Philip Lorentz Hautz born 1713 and Eva Walborn born abt 1720. (Source: Pennsylvania Marriages, 1769-1864)

Martin took the Oath of Fidelity and Support in 1778 in Maryland. (Patriotic Service-DAR)

We dont know when his wife Maria Barbara Hautz died, but we know it was after 12 Mar 1790, when Martin Battorf and Barbara Battorf both signed a paper in Berks county Pa to receive money from Maria Barbara Hautz Battorf's father(Philip Lorentz Hautz)'s estate.
It was after this March 12 1790 date we believe they moved back to Kentucky.
