Casper was born in Rosenfeld an der Nachoi, Samara, Russia. He immigrated to America fm Russia via Liverpool, England and arrived in the Port of New York, New York on 16 JAN 1912 aboard the S.S. Franconia. He stayed with the Heinrich Dieners @ 125 Broad St., Stapleton, Long Island, N.Y. for a few years before moving to Sheboygan, WI. Casper married Sophia Katherina Weber @ Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan on 16 AUG 1915 with Pastor C.P.Schulz officiating. Casper and Sophie owned and operated the Snack Shack Restaurant @ 1324 Michigan Ave. until his death @ the General Hospital in Madison after being ill for several weeks. Sophie carryied on the business with the aid of her sons William and Evin until abt. 1953. Casper was survived by his wife, daughter Mrs. David (Agnes) Hartmann of Seattle and sons William, Evin, and Charles of Sheboygan. Funeral services were held at the Nickel's Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Shulz, of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial took place in the Lutheran Cemetery.
