Rose Naclerio Acquarulo of Northford, CT entered into rest on Wednesday, March 4, 2010, at Yale-NH Hospital. She was pre-deceased by her husband Salvatore J. Acquarulo. Rose was born May 16, 1918 in New Haven, daughter of the late Matteo & Luisa Papagoda Naclerio. Rose enjoyed cooking for her family & friends, sewing was a hobby of hers. Rose was a caregiver; caring for others came naturally to her. She did it effortlessly with grace & ease. Her generosity knew no bounds. Rose found solace in watchingdaily Mass on TV. She is survived by her loving daughter, Christine Acquarulo Pouliot, & brothers Matteo, Anthony & Edward Naclerio. She was predeceased by sisters Jennie Acunto, Mary Naclerio, Anna Giaimo, & a brother Joseph Naclerio. For all the lives she touched with compassion, she will be greatly missed as a special sister, sister-in-law, aunt & friend. Funeral from MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME 592 CHAPEL ST. Monday at 9:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 10:00. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 7 pm.
