Husband - Lewis A. Banks Services for Helen Louise Banks, 83, Bucklin, MO, will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Maple Hill Chapel. Mrs. Banks died Friday, Dec. 29, 1995, at the McLarney Manor, Brookfield, Mo. She was born in Herrin, IL, and lived in the Kansas City area from 1943-1985 before moving to Bucklin. Mrs. Banks was a member of Riverview Baptist Church, Kansas City, KS, and later became a member of the Christian Church in Bucklin. Survivors include three sons, Edward Banks, Bucklin, Lewis Banks Jr., Grandview, and Arlin Ray Banks, KCK; four step-daughters, Dorothy Conatser, Trumann, AR, Agnes Lester & Maxine Mauze, both of KCK, and Edna Caster, Sun City AZ; three brothers, Walter Hancock, Trumann, Paul Hancock, KCK, and William Banks Jr., Florence Ala; a sister, Lois Lowery, Harrisburg, AR; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
