|Birth: ||Oct., 1880|
|Death: ||Mar. 28, 1905|
Daughter of Thomas L. Cashion and Mary Frances Cowsert; the fifth of six children.
She married Charles Lafayette Boze in Fannin Co. Aug. 27, 1899. They had one known child - Howard Abner Boze (1900-1975), who later changed his name to James Davis Hicks, per Social Security records. He died in Los Angeles, California and his burial location is unknown. The California Death Index has two records for him - one under Howard A. Boze and one under James D. Hicks; both have same SSN, same DOB, same death date and location.
Allie's death was recorded at the Fannin County Courthouse, Bonham, Texas, in the book "Death Records 1 1903-1919" p. 47. "Mrs. Charles Boze, 22 yrs. old, died Mar. 28, 1905, cause consumption." (Tuberculosis)
The following death and funeral announcements appeared separately in the same issue of the Fannin County Favorite, Bonham, Texas, Thursday, March 30, 1905 (on microfilm at Bonham Public Library):
"Mrs. Charley Boze, who has been quite ill at the home of her father, Tom Cashion, for some time, died this morning at an early hour."
"Funeral of Mrs. Boze.
"The burial of Mrs. Charlie Boze will take place at Moore's graveyard five miles south of town. Funeral services will be held at the grave at 2 o'clock this evening.
"Mrs. Boze was the youngest daughter of T. L. Cashion of this city. She leaves a husband and one child."
There is currently no headstone for Allie at Moore's Chapel Cemetery, but she is presumed to be buried near her mother and other Cashion family members.
