The angel of death has again called and taken another to his eternal home. Nathan Kincaid McFeeters, in his 51st year, died last Thursday afternoon in Rocky Grove, at the home of his father-in-law, Harrison Mong. Mr. and Mrs. McFeeters had gone to Rocky Grove about three weeks ago for a visit and also to seek further medical aid for the deceased. They had decided to return home last Tuesday, but Mr. McFeeters suffered a stroke of paralysis on Monday which rendered him unconscious and proved fatal. Several years ago he suffered his first stroke and in May last the second stroke left him unable to talk and in a pitiful condition. During all these months he has had every medical attention and all the good care that a loving wife and family could give him. The remains were brought to the home on Friday and services were conducted by Rev. Wolfe in his church on Saturday afternoon. The attendance was very large. Mr. McFeeters was converted in the Georgeville M.E. (Methodist Episcopal) Church about twenty-six years ago. Soon after he united with the Presbyterian church here, where he remained steadfast until death. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Merle Campbell and Mrs. David Best, near here; Esther, and one son, Charles, at home; also one sister, Mrs. N. J. Berlin, of East Sandy, and one brother, Harvey, of Forest Grove, Oregon, and a host of friends and other relatives. The following relatives from a distance were present for the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mong, Mr. and Mrs. Miles Mong, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Mong and Joseph Harrison, Mahlon Mong and Undertaker Russell of Franklin. The floral offerings were very pretty. The hymns sang were: "My Jesus, as Thou Wilt," "In That Sweet Bye and Bye, " and "When the Roll is Called Up Yonder."
