Ron was the eldest son of Murl Raymond and Florence Louise Bradtke Jones. He married Sarah Alexander in 1961 and they reared their two children, Anita Kay and Ronald Lee Jones to adulthood and later divorced. Ron married Patricia Powell in Stockton, Missouri on June 11, 1992. He was a kind and gentle man who loved his family and all of God's creatures. He taught that simplicity was an important virtue of life.
