(March 11, 1934 - November 19, 2017) Suseie Pauline Baldwin, 83, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017. Born March 11, 1934 in Harlan County, she had lived here most of her life. Suseie was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith.
Suseie is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Jack Baldwin; her parents, Anthony Clark and Cora Bush Clark; one daughter, Cora Neely; three brothers, Willie, Ray and Dillard Clark; and five sisters, Rosa Logan, Dovie Rice, Helen Faye Jordan, Geneva Bush and Gracie Bush.
Survivors include four children, Nellie Jean Perkins, Holmes Mill; Barbara Ann Witt and husband, Alton, Holmes Mill; Bill Jack Baldwin, Jr., and wife, Cookie, Cumberland; and Mary Helen Vanover and husband, Mitchell, Alabama; and one brother, Ralph Clark, Indiana.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Leonard Lee Bush, Susie Creech, George Perkins, Robert Perkins, Mary Ann Vanover, Nathan Vanover, Hailey Collett, Gerritt Jones and Aiden Lee Baldwin; eight great-grandchildren, Amanda Vanover, Allison Vanover, Shay Bush, J.R. Creech, B-Boy Zunda, Faith Collett, Grant Jones and Gracie Jones; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday from 5 until 8 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at 1 pm in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Blair officiating.
Burial will follow the services in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
