CHILLICOTHE - Harold L. Bornsheuer, 74, of 2636 Mercer Circle E., Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Chillicothe, IL, died Dec. 19, in a Jacksonville hospital after a brief illness.
Born March 30, 1910, in Marshall County, to Henry and Louisa Finck Bornsheuer, he was a retired Chief Warrant Officer with the U.S. Navy after 23 years of service spanning World War II and the Korean War. He also was retired from the Federal Reserve Bank, where he served 20 years. He had lived in Jacksonville since 1946, where he was a member of Spring Glen United Methodist Church and B.P.O.E.
Surviving are his wife, Betty: two daughters, Patricia Gillyard of Jacksonville Beach, Fl., Janet Nicklson, in the state of Maryland; two grandchildren; a sister, Ruby Donath of Princeville; and a brother, Wilbur Bornsheuer of Chillicothe. Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
Services and burial were in Jacksonville.
