Chris Conner was a well-loved and respected musician from Columbia, South Carolina. As frontman for the Sourwood Honey Band, the Conner Brothers Band and The South, Chris was an accomplished musician and songwriter whose music earned him a diverse and loyal fan base. Chris was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer at age 36 and passed away on November 21, 2007, after a 10-month battle with the disease. Chris's courageous battle with lung cancer rallied the local music community and friends nationwide to support him and his family. He set an example of courage, faith and love that inspired his family and friends to establish The Christopher Conner Foundation in order to continue his dream of helping others.
