Henry Clement Braun was born in Stark Township Nov. 13, 1907, the son of Mr and Mrs Jos. Braun died Feb. 11, 1969 following a heart attach. He married Marie Schumacher in Leavenworth on May 6, 1930. They continued to live in Stark Township until 1938 when they moved to Prairieville Township.
He is survived by his wife Marie and the following children; Joan (Mrs Gerald T.Schroepfer) Sleepy Eye; Alvin, Sleepy Eye; Rose (Mrs Milo Goldschmidt) Lake Lillian; Lloyd, Sleepy Eye; Leo, White Bear Lake; Robert, Brenda and Kathleen at home. A son, Henry, died in 1956. Surviving brothers and sisters are; Arnold, Moorehead; August, Galloway; Joe, Olivia; Lawrence, New Ulm; Alois and Ambrose, Sleepy Eye; Mrs Bertha Spaeth, Morgan; Mrs John DuChene, Mesa, Arizona and Mrs William Rickers, Moorehead.
He was a member of St. John`s Society and the Knights of Columbus.
