BLUE ROCK: Kay A. Barnhouse, 51, of Blue Rock, passed away at her residence Monday, October 4th 2010.

Kay was born June 10, 1959 in Zanesville the daughter of Bill (Dianne) Huston of Zanesville and the late Donna (Dennis) Huston. She worked as a school bus driver for the Franklin Local School District, she was Christian by faith and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Kay is survived by her husband, Art Barnhouse whom she married January 1, 2000; her daughters, Stephanie Kay Hinds of Blue Rock, Nicki Hinds of Hilliard and Sabrina Lashley of the home; her step son, Justin (Kayla) Barnhouse of Zanesville; her father, William "Bill" (Dianne) Huston of Zanesville; her brothers, Robert Huston of Cumberland and Scott Huston of Blue Rock; her sisters, Susan (Dave) Reed of Chandlersville, Michelle (Paul) Underwood of Warsaw and Rita Huston (Bennie) of Frazeysburg; her much loved grandchildren, Hayley, Reese, Riley "Rocket" Keira, Karsten, Kolton and Miley; her closest and dearest friend, Sandy Pierce; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Kay is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Huston who passed away in 1967; and her two brothers, Ronnie and Rusty; her grandparents, John & Hazel Huston, Ralph & Isabelle Dennis, Harold & Stella Ayers; and her father and mother-in-law, Jimmy "Pap" and Jean Barnhouse.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 7th at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Mark Ballmer officiating. A private burial will take place on their family farm.
